School Counselor

Hello everyone!! Welcome to the middle school counseling page. I am so glad you are here!

My name is Ms. Strate and I am the school counselor here at the middle school and for the freshman over at the high school. First, a little bit about myself. I love being outdoors whether it is hiking, hunting, fishing, backpacking, or camping. I also enjoy reading, writing, crocheting, and watching a good tv show or movie.

My main focus is to advocate and work with your student to develop skills in the following areas:

1. Academic and learning
2. Life and career
3. Citizenship
4. Health and wellness

I support students in each of these areas through individual counseling, small group counseling, classroom lessons, and a yearly parent/student college and career readiness meeting. Every student has the potential to do amazing things. Let’s have a great school year!
