COLLEGE CAREER READINESS AND
ANNUAL INDIVIDUAL PROGRESS REVIEW
Starting February 14
College and Career Readiness (CCR) Meetings for 8th Grade:
Students and parent/guardian will meet with the school counselor to:
- Review academic performance and class schedule
- Utilize YouScience to research career interests and classes at GCHS that will help students explore their interests
- Discuss the CTE Pathways offered at Grand County High School
- Build a four-year plan for high school and beyond
- Pre-register for 9th grade classes
Starting November 28
Annual Individual Progress Review Meetings for 7th Grade:
Students and parent/guardian will meet with the school counselor to:
- Review academic and behavioral performance as well as, attendance.
- Utilize YouScience to research career interests and classes at GCHS that will help students explore their interests
*An email, text, and phone call with a link to the counselor calendar will be sent out prior to February 14, allowing you to select a day and time that works best for your schedule. You may also select the button below, which will also direct you to the calendar. If there is a need to cancel, please do so within 24 hours before your scheduled appointment.

Margaret L. Hopkin Middle School creates student schedules with careful consideration to each student’s academic level and areas of interest. In order to provide consistency for parents, students, and teachers, schedule changes will be kept to a minimum.
